Maya and Osman strut their stuff working in brace at the Battle River Canine Association dog show in Camrose, Alberta, winning Best Brace In Show!
Come along with Maya and Misha as we welcome a beautiful morning on Okanagan Lake.
Our dogs can teach us a lot about love, leadership, and joy. Give our new podcast a listen.
Relationships between dogs and people are more than feeding, training, play, and exercise. This relationship is a spiritual one. It’s a spiritual relationship because there’s a lot of trust, devotion, and love involved. From love comes empathy, compassion, and wisdom, which are critical to effective leadership.
Dog shows can teach a lot about courage, leadership, and spiritual connection. We just have to open our hearts, confront challenges with an accepting mind, and be willing to learn new things. There’s no limit what unconditional love flowing from our dogs can teach us about life, leadership, and spirituality.
The best leadership starts with love in your heart for yourself and for others and who better to teach us about unconditional love than the wonderful affection, loyalty, and devotion we receive from our incredible spirit animals, our dogs.

Thank you Anastasiya Dubrava for breeding this truly wonderful creature full of love, joy and spirit.
Thank you AKC Judge Robert Vandiver.
Sharing life with Samoyeds brings joy, love, happiness and celebrates magnificent creatures. Samoyeds are truly spirit animals. An ancient breed thousands of years old, Samoyeds live and work closely with people. Samoyeds herd, pull, love and play with intelligence and huge hearts.
We are hard at work planning for a SurThrive Samoyeds litter in Spring 2024.
Come see us at the Show!
We have a busy show schedule coming up this Fall. Look for us in Red Deer, Calgary, and Lethbridge, Alberta.
Look up 'Joy' in the dictionary and you will find a picture of Maya. She brightens every day with her energy, mischief and smile. We are truly blessed to share our Samoyed Life with Maya.
Osman, brother to Maya, is a cuddle bum who loves to snuggle on the couch. More reserved than his sister, Osman is whip smart and can figure out any puzzle.
The leader of our pack, Misha leads the way with his determination, strong will and big heart. A force larger than life, Misha will see any task to the end.
For us, a big part of living a Samoyed Life is sharing their love.
One way we do that is showing our Samoyeds at dog shows, where our pack struts their stuff. They put their beauty and brains on display, love to make new friends, and always enjoy hearing your Samoyed stories. Come see us at our next show!

Getting Ready for Spring Shows 😀
On the One Year Anniversary of their arrival to their new home, follow the adventure of Osman and Maya from Belarus to join Misha in Canada!
Osman and Maya were born Christmas 2019 under the loving care of Anastasiya at White Evenk Kennels in Mazyr, Belarus.
The pandemic made their travel to their new home in Calgary, Canada very difficult. After weeks of worry and delay, Momma and Papa flew to Belarus in September 2020 to bring them home.

The Samoyed dog craves close connection to the people who share their journey. Typically, a Samoyed dog will select a particular person and form a close, deep bond for their entire life.
Samoyeds are classified as a working breed. They require lots of daily physical activity outdoors, lots of play, games and mental stimulation. A bored Samoyed is a grumpy Samoyed, and they will amuse themselves if ignored or neglected. This can lead to munching toilet paper -- or much worse.
Far from a passive dog, Samoyeds are busy, active and involved in their family life throughout the day, and well into the night. Although they love hiking, runs, skijoring, long brisk walks and any other fun outdoors, Samoyeds are happy to cuddle at night in bed with their people.
Just as Samoyeds did thousands of years ago on the steppes of Siberia, they journey with us today.
Samoyed Life is a Spiritual Life!
This ancient dog breed has spent thousands of years living closely with their Samoyed people in Siberia: herding, pulling, working and keeping their hoomans warm.
Samoyeds form deep, caring and loyal bonds with their people.
They are truly loving, white Spirit Beasts.
