What's a Samoyed Life?

Samoyeds are all love, all the time, always speaking with you, bringing joy into your life.  

Samoyeds are happiest when they share their lives closely with their humans.

An ancient breed thousands of years old, Samoyeds first worked with the Samoyed people in northern Siberia.  They worked hard, herding, pulling, hunting, keeping their masters warm at night.  They are ideally suited to harsh, cold, northern climates.  Moderate in size, they are not meant to be a large, heavy dog, which makes them ideal for efficiently pulling heavy loads over long distances.

Living a Samoyed Life means being active with your Samoyeds. They need a job to do. Very smart, they bore easily and need constant partnership, communication and love from their families.  A vocal dog, their shrill bark was meant to communicate across vast Arctic landscapes, like when their tribe dispatched a Samoyed to find a lost reindeer and called to say they found the wayward animal.

A Samoyed is truly a spirit animal.  They read their masters' moods and feelings.  When you dance, Samoyeds laugh and dance with you.  Working closely with people makes them happiest, and they form deep, life-long bonds.  A Samoyed will pick his special person, and they will be friends forever.
